Development Update!

🌟 Good Monday, everyone! 🌟

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I’ve been hard at work tackling your feedback and making some exciting progress. This week’s update is packed with technical fixes, gameplay improvements, and new content, so let’s dive right in!

🛠️ Technical Fixes

I’ve been focusing on smoothing out some technical issues to make your experience as seamless as possible:

• Shop Glitch: In the afternoon, if you skipped time, the store would disappear, leaving only the store clerk visible. Clicking on him would break the game. Solved!

• Café Glitch: Skipping time in Luca’s Café would send you back to Pearl’s room unexpectedly. Solved!

• PC Tip: Did you know you can right-click to go back a step on PC? It’s a handy shortcut to avoid clicking the exit button repeatedly.

🎮 Gameplay Improvements

I’ve made several quality-of-life (QOL) changes and added new features to enhance your gameplay:

• Map Access: Added buttons to return to the map from job locations (Café, Store, Model). No more being forced to work if you don’t want to!

• Job Map Updates: The top-right corner in job maps now includes access to the World Map and Wallet. Skipping time is temporarily disabled in job maps to avoid issues until night cycles are unlocked.

New Locations:

• Photo Studio: Added to the main map (City) with Morning/Afternoon/Night cycles.

• Park: Added to the main map with Morning/Day/Night cycles.

• Night Club: Added to the main map, available only at night.

Photo Studio Feature: Redo photo sessions by browsing an album of previous shoots. New scenes and alternatives will appear based on Pearl’s level and corruption points.

Corruption Notifications: Changed from “Corruption +1” to “Corruption +” to accommodate larger numbers and multi-person scenarios.

🎬 New Scenes

I’ve been busy adding new content to keep the story fresh and engaging:

• Photo Studio Intro: The introduction to the Photo Studio is complete and introduces a new character, Troy. He and Eric know each other… but they’re not exactly friends.

• Modelling Job: The first introduction scene for the Modelling job is implemented, along with 10 new scenes featuring Troy. These include alternative versions of photoshoots, adding variety and replay ability.

🚀 What’s Next?

With these updates out of the way, I’ll be focusing on more scenes based on your poll choices:

• Public Shenanigans: More outdoor adventures and mischief.

• Step-Father & Step-Mother: Expanding their storylines with new scenes.

• Mica’s Story: Wrapping up her Level 0 content and hinting at Level 1 to keep the timeline consistent.
